About Diamond

Read our Breed Survey Reference Guide to learn more about Diamond's survey! Adult females available — titled & health tested

We’re phasing a few adult females out of our breeding program. They have excellent temperaments (stable, social, biddable) — that’s exactly why they were part of our program.

What “titled” means: They’ve earned formal working/obedience titles under judges — proof of trainability and nerve. Examples include IGP/BH-VT (obedience/temperament), rally/obedience titles, CGC/CGCA, tracking, etc. In short: they’ve been tested in public, under pressure, and proved themselves.

What “health tested” means: Pre-breeding screenings with documentation — e.g., hips/elbows (OFA/FCI), degenerative myelopathy (DM) DNA, and other vet clearances. This helps ensure soundness and longevity.

Placement requirements (please read):

- No small children

- No small dogs and no female dogs in the home

- Cat status: unknown — it truly depends on the individual animals; only a careful, supervised intro can tell you.

Prefer experienced, active homes with time for training/structure; fenced yard a plus.

Standard adoption fee and contract apply (spay, vet records, trial meet-and-greet).

Next steps: DM with your household setup, experience with GSDs, work schedule, and current pets.

Why no female dogs in the house? Mature, confident females—especially working-line GSDs—have the highest risk of same-sex conflict in a home. Even with good management (and even after spay), female-female tensions can surface over status, space, or resources, and when girls fight it’s often serious. My job is to set everyone up for success, so these ladies are placed with no resident females (homes with no dogs or a well-matched male can be considered after a careful, structured intro). Safety and stability first—for the dog and the household.
